Being able to mix a good drink is a rite of passage for all hosts, even those who choose to rely on professionally hired bartenders. We've tried and tasted the best and prettiest-to-make recipes that will be perfect additions to your next bridal shower, engagement party, or girls' night.
- 1 ounce Averill Damson Gin Liqueur
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 30-60 seconds and pour into a glass. Add sparkling wine. Finish with a brandied cherry if you prefer.
Raspberry Rose Fizz
- 1 1/2 oz gin
- 3/4 oz liqueur framboise
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 3/4 oz raspberry syrup
- 3 drops rosewater
- 1 egg white
- 1 1/2 oz sparkling water
- rose petal for garnish
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
Pineapple Mint Cooler (non-alcoholic)
- 2 whole pineapples, skinned and cut into spears
- 2 small bunches of mint
- 3-4 limes, juiced
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- simple syrup or other sweetener (to taste)
- mint and pineapple leaves for garnish
Moscato Pink Lemonade (easiest!)
1 bottle of pink Moscato
1 liter bottle of lemon-lime soda
1 (12 oz.) can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate
Directions (group serving size):
Mix pink moscato and lemon-lime soda together in a pitcher. Add can of concentrate and mix together. Serve chilled.
